Lust doesn’t whisper.
It roars.
It flashes images in your mind.
It replays memories with 4K clarity.
It convinces you that you're not free —
That you're still its property.
But here’s the truth:
The flesh is loud,
But the Spirit is louder.
When you walk by the Spirit,
you don’t white-knuckle your way to freedom —
you inherit it.
“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
— Galatians 5:16
You don’t have to outmuscle lust.
You have to out-abide it.
Because lust runs on your disconnection.
It grows in the gap between you and God.
It thrives in the moments you forget who you are.
But when you remember…
— That you’ve been crucified with Christ
— That your body is a temple
— That your eyes were made to see glory, not filth
— That your hands were made for holiness, not chains
…then suddenly the roar gets quieter.
The Spirit begins to speak.
Not with shame, but with power.
Not with condemnation, but with clarity.
He reminds you:
"You’re not a slave.
You’re not your past.
You’re not your urges.
You are mine."
And in that moment, you realize:
The war isn't just about what you’re turning away from —
It's about who you're becoming.
You're not just resisting lust.
You're reclaiming your vision.
Your purity.
Your priesthood.
So keep walking.
Let the flesh scream.
Let the enemy rage.
But lift your head —
Because the Spirit is louder.
And His voice is calling you out of the fog and into the fire.
