The Devil was once Heaven’s choirmaster.
Before he was the serpent, before he was the dragon, before he fell like lightning from Heaven — Lucifer was music. Not just skilled at it. Made of it.
Ezekiel 28 tells us that timbrels and pipes were built into his very being. Imagine that — an angelic body designed like an instrument. He was the chief worship leader of Heaven, flooded with beauty and sound.
But pride bloated his chords. And he sought worship for himself.
So now? He still leads worship… but for a different audience.
He has a setlist — one that plays 24/7, from earbuds and radio towers and TikTok loops.
It plays in gyms, cars, bedrooms, locker rooms.
It tells a generation how to feel, how to move, how to rebel.
And the scary part?
Most people don’t even know who wrote the song.
Music is not neutral.
It’s never just a beat. Never just a vibe.
Sound is spiritual. It bypasses the intellect and goes straight to the soul.
That’s why:
You can be depressed… and one sad song pushes you deeper.
You can be numb… and one song breaks your heart open.
You can be pure… and one track pulls you back into lust.
You may think you’re just listening to catchy hooks.
But the enemy has hooks of his own — and he embeds them in melodies.
Because he knows:
If I can get them to worship me without knowing it, I win.
The Lyrics Don’t Have to Say “Satan.”
He’s smarter than that.
He doesn’t need you chanting “Hail Lucifer.”
He just needs your allegiance. Your ears. Your agreement with the flesh.
He’ll sing you:
Songs of pride and self-glory
Songs that glorify promiscuity and numbness
Songs that mock the sacred and exalt the profane
Songs that seem harmless — but make you forget God
He has a setlist that plays on repeat.
And it’s designed to normalize rebellion and spiritual dullness.
It’s time to stop giving Satan a stage in your soul.
Every song you allow into your temple is an altar.
Who are you letting worship through you?
If music shaped your childhood, your identity, your sexuality, your emotions —
and if that music was drenched in rebellion, rage, lust, and self-worship…
Then it’s time to lay it down.
You don’t need a demonically anointed playlist shaping your mind anymore.
You’re not that person. You’ve been made new.
The good news? God has a setlist too.
He’s raising up a sound in this generation.
Songs that carry Heaven’s fire.
Tracks that awaken hearts, crush demons, and bring joy back to dry bones.
So delete the devil’s songs.
Burn the old albums if you must.
Clear the stage — and let the King of Glory in.
He has a better song.
A purer rhythm.
A truer worship.
