Self-help.
Self-love.
Self-expression.
Self-branding.
Self-comparison.
Self-pity.
Self-importance.
The algorithm rewards it.
The culture celebrates it.
And the churches? Many just repackage it in Christianese.
But the truth?
📖 “Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me.” — Jesus (Luke 9:23)
Not express yourself — deny yourself.
Not manifest your dreams — die to yourself.
The Gospel is not a brand.
It’s not a dopamine hit.
It’s not a platform for your ego.
It’s a crucifixion.
And only what dies can rise.
You were not made for the endless pursuit of your own reflection.
You were made to reflect the Lamb.
The world is drunk on vanity — and starving for real glory.
Not follower-count glory.
Not skincare-testimony glory.
Not humblebrag-baptism glory.
But the glory that comes from the altar of surrender.
From the ashes of your ego.
From the Spirit of God alone.
The age of the narcissist is ending.
The Witnesses are rising.
Not perfect. Not polished. But crucified — and consecrated.
Let your mirror shatter.
Let your “brand” die.
Let Jesus live.
This is not about you.
And that is your greatest freedom.
