There comes a moment when every disciple must lay down the music that shaped them… and realize it was never just music.
It was worship.
Every beat bowed to something. Every lyric was liturgy. Every song, a sermon to the soul.
And some of those sermons were dark.
They told you to trust no one. To rebel. To numb out. To chase pleasure. To rage.
They sowed seeds of lust, confusion, anger, and pride.
They turned your headphones into altars…
And your speakers into sanctuaries for another spirit.
This scroll is a funeral.
A funeral for every band, every playlist, every album that exalted the flesh and warred against the Spirit of God.
Not because the melody wasn’t good. Not because the musicians lacked talent.
But because the source was rotten.
Because the fruit was rebellion.
Because the lyrics led you to a kingdom that was not His.
This isn’t about genre. It’s about allegiance.
Music is spiritual technology. And many of us have been hacked by the enemy's soundtrack for decades.
So today, with holy fire in your bones, bury the music that buried you.
Delete the playlists. Burn the albums.
Hold a funeral in your heart.
Mourn it if you must — it shaped you.
But don’t resurrect what the Lord is asking you to crucify.
Let Him give you a new song.
One forged in truth, in Spirit, in purity and power.
Songs that deliver, not deceive.
Lyrics that lift, not lure.
Music that ministers instead of manipulates.
Heaven is full of sound.
The throne room is full of praise.
The kingdom has its own music — and it's time you tuned in.
